Editor do Wall Street Journal diz que Google é um "vampiro digital"

Segundo o portal Comunique-se , o editor do Wall Street Journal e diretor-executivo do Dow Jones, Les Hilton, declarou que o Google está agindo como um "vampiro digital". Um discurso proferido no dia 25/06, Hilton disse que a empresa de Mountain View "suga o sangue" dos jornais, e prometeu contra-atacar sites como o Google News.

"(O Google) não começou sua vida como um vampiro digital apenas. A imagem caridosa do Google é que o mercado jornalístico alimentou o gosto do Google por esse tipo de sangue", disse.

Contra tal modelo de negócio, Hilton disse que o "Dow Jones está terminando de desenvolver uma nova plataforma para conduzir os futuros negócios na web.".
